Hotel Opera enjoys a central location on a peaceful side street off Kongens Nytorv and just by the Royal Theatre. Hotel Opera is just a 2 minute walk from busses, the metro and all the shopping possibilities on the pedestrian street, Stroget. Hotel Opera was built in 1869, back then it functioned as a boarding house until it was redesigned as a hotel in the classic English style in 1950. The perfect location of the hotel next to the Royal Theatre is highlighted inside with pictures of the actors who have resided at the hotel over the years. There are also thematic halls with photographs of current actors, as well as photographies dedicated to music and the ballet. The hotel features an internet corner and a cosy lobby bar where drinks are served around the clock. The rooms are individually and classically decorated and have wireless internet connection.
