The Chedi in Chiang Mai's center nestles on the banks of the Mae Ping River, within walking distance of the famous night markets. Consisting of 52 deluxe rooms and 32 Chedi Club Suites, The Chedi incorporates the cream of modern Asian design, venturing into uncharted domains of service and luxury with teak wood flooring and warm rich colours. Two fully equipped meeting rooms constitute the hotel's excellent business facilities. In a two-story colonial-style building, once housing the Chiang Mai British Consulate, The Chedi's restaurant serves contemporary Asian and Western cuisine and features two bars.
