Sorrel Hotel Tamina

The guesthouse Tamina was opened in 1827 as a tavern. Before that time, it was assumedly the manor house of wealthy owners. During the 19th century, a significant rise occurred to Bad Ragaz that belongs to the Canton of St. Gallen since 1803. In 1840, for the first time water from the thermal source in the Tamina gorge was piped directly to the village by means of a four kilometer long wooden pipeline. In 1987, the Hotel Tamina was rebuilt. The romantic Art Nouveau style was conserved. Spacious, tastefully and comfortably furnished rooms with bath or shower/toilet, direct outward dialling phone, internet access, clock radio, TV, mini-bar, safe, hair-dryer and bath robe.
