Regina Palace (lake View)
Located along the lakeside of Stresa, tourist capital of Lake Maggiore, in front of the famous Borromee islands, Regina Palace Hotel is an elegant and peaceful first - class hotel surrounded by a marvellous park. The "Belle Epoque" atmosphere prevails in the halls. The hotel was inaugurated in March 1908 and still conserves furniture and ceiling lamps of the old days. The lobby incorporates a large seating area furnished in traditional, grandiose style with a wooden tiled floor, white columns, antique carpets and plants of the area placed wherever possible. The rooms vary in decor but generally have a traditional theme.
