Metropole
The Metropole Swiss Quality Hotel is a modern two-storey building, located within 150 metres of Bern's old town and theatre, and 300 metres from the town's main railway station. The hotel's 59 guestrooms have light, modern decor with low-level beds, patterned fabrics, and wood furnishings. All include telephones, desks and hair dryers. Guests can start the day with breakfast in the morning room, and staff at the front desk can assist with transport bookings, entertainment reservations and recommendations on places to visit around the hotel. Newspapers and tourist advice literature is also available in the lobby, and parking is available for a surcharge. The hotel's sister hotel, located opposite, has a small fitness centre which guests of the Metropole are welcome to use. A variety of attractions are located nearby the hotel, including the main theatre and the Marktgasse, both 150 metres from the hotel.
