Weisses Kreuz

***There will be some renovations on the 2nd floor of the hotel from 20/10 to 21/11/2008, including a replacement of the sewage pipes 27/10-28/10/2008.*** The Hotel Weisses Kreuz has been around since 1645 and has always been a very traditional family run hotel. Once a simple inn offering shelter to merchants and farmers, the Weisses Kreuz nowadays hosts travellers of all nationalities in its cosy and well- furnished guest-rooms. Even Leopold Mozart and his son Wolfgang Amadeus stayed in the hotel on their first journey to Italy in 1769. "We are in good health, thank God. We are staying at the Weisses Kreuz." (Leopold Mozart in a letter to his wife.) The hotel is located right in the centre of the old historic town of Innsbruck, a few meters away from the famous sight "The golden roof" and very good choice for travellers preferring a very nice and cosy family run hotel with a budget price.
