Stanton Manor

The house has a rich history and is listed in the Domesday Book. It was once owned by Lord Burghley, chief minister to Queen Elizabeth I, and was rebuilt in 1840. Stanton Manor hotel has been completely refurbished, and the new owners Robert and Linda Davis are on hand to ensure that a friendly and attentive service is extended to guests. Modern facilities and comforts combine easily and unobtrusively with those of the past, which include magnificent Tudor fireplaces and stone flooring. The hotel's en suite bedroom accommodation are spacious and individually designed with very comfortable furniture. Four hotel rooms have luxury king size four poster beds to complement the stunning New Oriental or Provenasal themed rooms. Four hotel rooms are suitable for large families. Head Chef Paul Hudson and his team take pride in creating traditional British cuisine with flair and quality, which is immaculately served in the elegant and light Gallery Restaurant, overlooking the grounds, exhibiting an eclectic collection of art by prominent Oriental artists. All artwork is for sale to customers and guests. Light snacks are available all day in the cosy, refurbished bar or lounge. Head Chef Paul Hudon has recently been awarded an AA Rosette for the excellent food he has been producing.
