***Blumenhotel St Veit will open on 15th September 2008***A sea of flowers. The 110-room Blumenhotel will open in St. Veit an der Glan, Carinthias City of Flowers, in Autumn 2008. The concept behind this 4-star hotel is dedicated to a floral theme (Blume means flower in German), which finds its expression in both the hotel architecture as well as its interior design. The city hotel is centrally located just a few minutes walk from the historical sights such as the Plague Column or the medieval town square with the town hall and a great number of shops, restaurants and cafes. Travel made easy. The proximity to Klagenfurt, the capital of the southern Austrian state of Carinthia, means St. Veit is easily reached by car, train and plane. If arriving by car, there is plenty of free parking available directly in front of the hotel. Events venue with show nursery. The opening of the Blumenhotel and its unique show nursery will provide hobby gardeners, nature lovers and botanists with a new venue for events in Austria. The hotel will also feature two conference rooms capable of being merged into a single events space.
