Just north of Milan, facing the most romantic lake in the world Hotel Barchetta Excelsior is located in the heart of Como. This elegant lake-town is surrounded by green hills and has a mild climate throughout the year. Being the silk capital, Como features plenty of fashionalbe boutiques. Parking on premises is charged at 19,00 Euro per day.The two Hotel Restaurants offer mediterranean cooking with specialties from the Lake Como area, completed with a rich wines list. The elegant Panoramic Restaurant is ideal both for romantic candlelight dinners and for important business meetings. The Bistrot, with the external terrace, which opens during the summertime, proposes a simple menu or light,informal meals. All year long we have gastronomy evenings focused over different themes; our customers may taste all the most celebrated italian and foreign cookings. The Bar, located close to the Hotel Hall, is always at our customer disposal from 10 a.m. up to midnight. We have 84 rooms at your disposal: 79 doubles, 1 single, 3 junior suite and 1 suite. Our rooms are mainly with a view over the lake. All the rooms are soundproof with air conditioning, satellite TV, radio, direct telephone line, minibar. All rooms are non-smoking, whilst others are equipped with fax and jacuzzi.
