Alden Spluegenschloss
The Alden Hotel Splügenschloss is the smallest and most intimate 5-star boutique hotel in Zurich. The historic hotel building, under heritage protection, dates back to 1895 and was completely refurbished in 2004 with the aim of restoring its original splendor. The hotel now combines fin-de-siècle elegance with the high-tech comforts of today. It is conveniently located in a quiet side street in the heart of the city. The lake shore and its tranquil gardens, the concert hall (Tonhalle) and the Opera house as well as famous Bahnhofstrasse and the lively old town are a mere 5 to 10 minutes stroll away from the hotel. Whether for a quiet business lunch meeting, a romantic tête-à-tête or a casual quick lunch: guests will be pampered in an elegant and comfortable atmosphere by the service team at the restaurant and bar. In summer, guests can also dine "al fresco" in front of the historic and picturesque building.
