Offering an array of hotel facilities more often associated with 4-star hotels, the 3-star superior Dostoevsky Hotel not only offers guests a central, downtown location, but also value for money and excellent service. Being situated right next to Dostoevsky Metro station, visitors can move around St. Petersburg with ease. However, the famous Nevsky Prospekt thoroughfare, with all it's shops, bars and restaurants is only a couple of hundred metres away - and even major sights such as the Hermitage Winter Palace can be easily reached on foot. Standard guestrooms are comfortably and tastefully furnished, and include such amenities as minibar, direct dial telephone, Pay-TV and satellite TV as standard. Breakfast is a sumptous buffet affair with a variety of hot and cold dishes guaranteed to satisfy the heartiest of appetites, including even a selection of mouthwatering pastries. The hotel bar is open throughout the day (with fabulous panoramic views of the Northern Capital's rooftops) and the in-house restaurant offers a good and comprehensive combination of Russian and European dishes. Additional facilities include sauna, business centre (available for an extra charge) as well as access to the shopping mall located within the hotel complex. Well-trained, helpful and friendly staff complement what is already an excellent product. Thoroughly recommended.
