Suites At One King West (studio Suite)

Constructed in 1914 as the Head Office of The Dominion Bank of Canada, the Suites at 1 King West has a storied past and the décor within harkens back to that time, with the spectacular 45-foot high ceiling and the great banking hall. Situated directly in the heart of Toronto's business, entertainment and shopping districts, where King Street intersects with Yonge Street, the hotel has direct access to the underground PATH system. Studio suites include refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, washer & dryer desktop, CD/stereo and alarm clock radio, TV and DVD player, coffee maker and kettle, windows that open, in room safe, iron & ironing board and have 1 king bed that can accommodate 2 persons comfortably. The 17th floor rooftop health club has a fully equipped fitness centre, hot tub, sauna and roof-top garden (please note that the swimming pool is closed). Other hotel amenities include valet parking ($), 24-hour business services, and online grocery ordering with delivery to the suites upon arrival. From the original Michie & Co. Grocers and Wine Merchants established in the mid 1800's, Michie's is now the Nag's Head Tavern, which serves fresh and creative meals daily for those who are on the run or working late (open 24 hours). The Dominion Club Main Dining Hall is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, 7 days a week (reservations recommended). What once operated as teller stations is now being converted into an 80 foot long, interactive bar with tasty cocktails as The Teller's Bar. A fresh concept for meeting new people exists at The Club Table where you can join this table when you want to engage in conversation over a meal or meet new friends while The Lounge allows you to catch up on your email, read the newspaper or order a light bite.
