Built by an American tycoon fond of Ischia, the original villa of the Continental Mare has been expanded over the years, preserving the informal elegance of a private mansion. The 57 rooms are simple, all have air conditioning, mini-bar, Satellite TV, telephone, safe and complete bathrooms with hairdryer, the sea view rooms also enjoy lovely views over the sea. The Continental Mare is home to a well-known Health and Beauty Club for SPA treatments, physiotherapy, fitness and beauty. It also has two swimming pools filled with SPA water and set on one of the hotel's beautiful terraces overlooking the sea, as well as a delightful restaurant with sea views offering lovely typical and international cuisine.
