Cringletie House Castle (with Breakfast)

Cringletie House is a castle-type baronial mansion set in the tranquil and rural countryside of the Tweed Valley with spectacular views of the grounds and beyond from many of its rooms. This makes it an ideal base from which to explore the beautiful Tweed Valley and the Scottish Borders, with the sights and sounds of Edinburgh only 20 miles away. The comfortable bedrooms each have a unique character and are all furnished to the highest standards. In addition to the normal facilities such as trouser press, telephone etc, all rooms have wall-mounted flat screen TV, and come equipped with high speed internet access (LAN) and WiFi as standard. A fruit bowl and mineral water will be waiting for you upon your arrival. There is a selection of rooms to relax over a dram or a bite to eat. The stylish Sutherland Room with its beautiful, hand painted trompe l'oeuil ceiling and real log open fire offers unparalleled views of the Cringletie grounds. The smaller Wolfe Murray Room is the perfect setting for an intimate family dinner as it holds a maximum of 12 guests. Even the Maguire Room may be used for dining. Wherever dinner is served, the service is professional, friendly and attentive and - with 2 AA Rosettes - the dining experience will be a memorable one.
