The City of Charlottetown, incorporated in 1855, is located at the centre of Prince Edward Island, and is nationally recognised as the "Birthplace of Confederation".The Delta Prince Edward is the centrepiece of Charlottetown's waterfront, and boasts its own waterfront park and marina, cosily situated beside the Peake's Wharf complex of quaint shops and restaurants.
