Des Colonies Hotel
Located in the centre of Brussels, the charming 3* Hotel Des Colonies is ideal for both shopping and sightseeing. The Grand Place and famous "Manneken Pis" are just a pleasant 10 minutes stroll from the hotel, or a mere two tram stops. For guests wanting to take advantage of the shopping Brussels has to offer, the main shopping street is just 100 metres away. The hotel's public areas have changed very little since the early 1900s, keeping their old colonial charm. Sir Montgomery stayed at the hotel in the 1940s and guests can still see the typewriter he used to write his memoirs. All 95 attractive rooms are comfortably decorated and although modernised, they still keep the charm of the "Art Nouveau" days.
