Metropole & Suisse Au Lac

Situated in Cavour Square, the heart of Como, the hotel Metropole & Suisse is 50 metres away from the lake's shore and boasts one of the best spots in town. Established in 1892 by the Cassanis, it is still owned by the descendent of the same family and still provides the same traditional hospitality of the XIX century. All rooms were renovated in 2003 and are furnished in a traditional Italian style. Some of them have balconies or windows overlooking the square or the lake and offer all the expected facilities of a 4 star hotel. The "Imbarcadero" restaurant offers a good selection of regional and international dishes in a grand environment. Alternatively, during the summer months, guests can dine on the lakefront terrace al fresco.
