From the city centre the hotel is situated half way down the High street opposite St Mary's Church (the University Church) and Catte street. The hotel is surrounded by some of Oxford's oldest University colleges, good shops, museums and pubs and directly across the road from the famous Radcliffe Camera and Bodleian Library.
