The Grand Hotel Ambasciatori is surrounded by the green of a centuries-old park straight on the sea; in 19th century it was namely a villa used as summer holiday residence by a noble family from Piemonte. More recently it happened to be the home of a very well-known fortune-teller; she had a good reputation in the neighbourhood since she was supposed to be of good omen. In 1950s the building was bought by the Manniello family who turned it into a hotel.
