Orizontes
This hotel lies amidst the vineyards close to a settlement steeped in history and affording views out over the Aegean. The hotel is situated at the highest point of the island, in the unique village of Pyrgos whose small, traditional houses are clustered around a Venetian castle and whose narrow streets follow the contours of the hill. A visit to Pyrgos in the evening comes highly recommended: it is possible to marvel at the fabulous scenery, which will make guests never want to leave Santorini. Fira is situated some 7.5 km to the northwest of Pyrgos.
