At the Mereside our aim is to give Island visitors who stay with us the most friendly comfortable experience possible. As a small family-run guest house we are able to offer the personal touches and individual character which make a stay memorable. Everyone is welcome at the Mereside: we cater for all ages and are more than happy to accommodate group parties. A former World War Two army headquarters HQ retains a fascinating sense of history while offering a thoroughly fresh and modern ambience in which to unwind. During the summer months our guests enjoy sitting out on our decked patio area a lovely suntrap.
