Rose Cottage
Over 400 years old Rose Cottage retains many of the original features. Located in the heart of Bowness and just a minutes walk from Lake Windermere Rose Cottage offers the convenience of having Bowness' many attractions bars and restaraunts on it's doorstep whilst the beautiful Lake District scenery is within easy walking distance. Our guesthouse has 5 rooms all en-suite with a walk in shower. We have 3 double rooms and 2 family rooms which sleep 3 people although we do have a z-bed and a travel cot (for a small fee) if required. All rooms offer complimentary toiletries teacoffee making facilities a trouser press and LCD satelite tv. We offer a good hearty breakfast which is served in our beautiful dining room at the convenient time of 8.30am - 9.30 am. Please note that although we strive to make your visit as relaxed as possible Bowness can be very lively especially at weekends.
