Swaffham is situated in West Norfolk close to the A47 and A1065. The town has a bustling Saturday market and is the setting for the popular Kingdom' TV series starring Stephen Fry. Richmond Lodge is just a few minutes walk from the town centre. You'll find lots of shops around the large Georgian market place including supermarkets chemists bookshops and hair and beauty salons as well as several banks. There's also a library and a Friday night cinema. Right round the corner from Richmond is Swaffham Leisure Centre where you can enjoy badminton squash table tennis aerobics and an 18-station gym. We are an ideal base for tourists to explore the surrounding countryside where you'll find lots of attractions and amenities. These include nature reserves fishing lakes forest walks on the Peddars way national hiking trail golf courses and historic buildings. The coast is only 30 minutes away as are the holy shrines at Walsingham and the Queen's Sandringham Estate. We're also ideally located for anybody attending the National Construction College at Bircham Newton. Swaffham has a wide variety of cafes bars and restaurants to choose from. You'll find lots of charming country pubs in the surrounding villages too. Many of these serve food both at lunchtimes and in the evenings.
