The Falcon is a traditional country Hotel or Inn with the emphasis on excellent food and service but without being pretentious.Our 16 bedrooms are all en suite with 6 situated in the main Hotel and the remainder in our adjacent cottages. Decorated with country fabrics and subtle colours.Our award-winning Compton's Restaurant overlooks our delightfully mature gardens. The chefs use local produce whenever possible however quality always takes priority. Complemented by a recently created wine list including Old classics as well as exciting New World wines. Our choice of menus hosts a complete range of dishes to excite the pallet and accommodate all pockets!.Situated just a few minutes from Castle Ashby House the Falcon is within easy walking distance of the magnificent grounds. The Marquis of Northampton's family have owned the 10000 acre estate for over four centuries and it encompasses many of the local hamlets and villages.Dotted around the area is a range of gentle diversions. With walks and views to suit all abilities and tastes. Scour the guidebooks for local flora and fauna you wont be disappointed. There's Golf Riding Fishing and Shooting nearby. More adventurous guests can explore further a field with Silverstone Stratford-on-Avon Bedford Woburn and Althorp all not far away and at Milton Keynes (just 17 miles away) is one of the countries best indoor real snow sky slopes a freefall chamber for adrenalin junkies and a cinema complex.
