Situated just 100 yards from the centre of the charming Cotswold's village of Bourton on the Water this ivy-clad house dates back to the Tudor period. The main building and several stone-built annexes all designated non-smoking accommodate the 23 en-suite bedrooms which are equipped with a hairdryer clock radio and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Televisions and telephones are not provided in the bedrooms. Two lounges and a bar are available for guests to relax in. Alternatively guests can enjoy a game of croquet on the lawn. Meals are served in an informal friendly atmosphere at tables for up to eight guests. A three-course dinner is served at 7 to 7.30pm for a charge of 18 GBP per person. If you would like to dine at the country house please contact the house before 6pm to make your dinner reservation. A choice of full English or continental breakfast is offered. To allow you to make the most of your touring or walking holiday a self-select picnic lunch can be provided for the small charge of 10 GBP per person. Free car parking is available. Please notify the country house in advance if you intend to arrive after 10.30pm. Bedrooms are available from 2.30pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure.With its location in the Cotswolds the UK's largest official designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty the country house is an excellent base for those on an activity or walking holiday. Other nearby attractions include Malmesbury Abbey the Cotswolds Falconry centre and Birdland park and gardens.
