The Brickwall Hotel sits overlooking the village green in the pretty East Sussex village of Sedlescombe. Originally built in 1597 for the local ironmaster the hotel combines a touch of Tudor times with all the amenities expected by modern standards.Offering a family atmosphere the Brickwall Hotel has many local beauty spots and attractions within easy reach. Guests at the hotel can expect to receive a warm welcome from experienced staff and proprietor who has run the hotel for the past 26 years.A perfect place for a break at any time of the year the hotel offers a warm and friendly atmosphere in beautiful surroundings. With a spacious residents' lounge an oak panelled lounge bar and beautiful beamed dining room we provide Mini Breaks fully inclusive of Dinner Bed and Breakfast as well as just Bed and Breakfast rates. Particular attention is paid to the quality and variety of food served in the dining room with local produce being used whenever possible. Complementing the cuisine is a well stocked wine cellar.Situated in around 2 acres guests can relax in any of the secluded garden areas and take in the tranquility of the peaceful Sussex landscape. The outdoor heated swimming pool is open from May to September and features seating near the pool or set back surrounded by beautiful trees and shrubs.The hotel has a large car park to the rear with ample space for around 40 vehicles.
