Grove Lodge
Grove Lodge is a fine Grade II listed Georgian villa built in 1788. The home of an architect Peter Richards and his wife a former teacher Isabel Miles. The house is situated in an enclosed green landscape setting with fine views and easy access to the city centre.The en-suite bedrooms are spacious with high ceilings marble or stone Georgian fireplaces and a sitting area with two chairs. The rooms all have large sash windows over looking the garden some with far reaching views and working shutters. The furnishings are a mix of contemporary and antique styles. All rooms have flat screen TV free WiFi radio alarm clock hairdryer teacoffee making facilities and king size beds.Vegetarian and gluten free diets catered for with prior notice.CHECK IN TIMES 1pm to 8pm . Please advise us of your expected arrival time to ensure someone is here to greet you. PLEASE NOTE we are not able to check in guests after 9pm.
