Mas del Rei is an old farmhouse dating from the 11th century in the borough of El Matarraña (Calaceite). Situated in a beautiful natural setting of 25 hectares of woodland meadows and olive and almond groves it is the perfect spot for getting away from it all far from the hustle and bustle of city life.The house has recently been restored by its four owners and fitted out as a hotel while respecting its original architecture to the full. Within its 800 m2 the hotel has seven guest rooms (one suite and six double rooms) each of them unique and original with their own entrance; a library in the former kitchen; a wine cellar; a lounge where guests can relax in peace and quiet; a restaurant that serves fine cuisine cooked on the premises using natural produce from the farmhouse's own kitchen garden; a courtyard where guests can savour the cool; outdoor spots where you can sit in tranquil contemplation and allow all your senses to draw in inspiration from the natural surroundings.
