Grange Farmhouse is set in farm land one mile south of Dunfermline with an open outlook towards the River Forth. Originally the site was settled as a 'ferm toun' which supplied farm produce to the monks of Dunfermline Abbey back in the 12th and 13th century.The house was built in the mid 19th century and ceased to be part of a working farm in the 1960s; it has been converted into a family home and during the last 20 years we have extended the property and redecorated the interior to a high standard of comfort and convenience.We offer a choice of two double bedrooms a family suite for four people and a twin bed room. All rooms are on the first floor and are accessed by stairs. All rooms have an open outlook to the garden and the countryside beyond. Three rooms providing a variety of accommodation to suit your requirements.The rooms are equipped with a hairdryer kettle freeview flatscreen television DVD player DVDs clock radioalarm and a selection of books. Board games are available on request. Central heating is installed in the bedrooms bathroom and en suite room.Breakfast is served in the dining room from 7am until 9am or earlier by arrangement. Try our red fruit compote prepared using berries picked from the garden; we also recommend a taste of honey from nectar collected by our bees.
