The elegant Villa Fontelunga is set above the Val di Chiana enjoying panoramic views across the Tuscan countryside towards the hilltop town of Cortona. Crafted from a traditional Padronale the villa is now a marriage of traditional Tuscan style and comtemporary design. The guestrooms of the villa are classically proportioned and individually styled with an eclectic mix of modern and antique furnishings.The accommodation offers air conditioning a stereo CD player telephone and modern en-suite showers and bathrooms.Each room offers double aspect views over the surrounding gardens and countryside with the junior suite in the cottage having French doors onto its own terrace.The swimming pool set in the olive groves of the Villa is an excellent location in which to relax read a book take the sun or simply admire the view with afternoon tea or a cocktail - whatever the mood takes you!Those who are more energetic can either take advantage of the tennis court or use one of the Villas mountain bikes. To start your day a Continental breakfast is served on the Terrace and guests relaxing at the villa during the afternoon are offered an informal lunch.In the evening after drinks by the pool we can make reservations for you at one of the many excellent restaurants in the area. On select evenings a dinner party can be enjoyed at the Villa. The villas are in an unrivalled position offering wonderful walks in the surrounding countryside and a multitude of Tuscan hill top towns to be discovered throughout the surrounding area.
