Opened in 1968 always owned and managed by the same family renovated and restructured in 2006-7l spreads into four close functional buildings in a large wooded parkland. It is an ideal place for outdoor activities (trekking mountain bike canoeing horse riding climbing hiking bird watching etc). We can offer you a different and unknown Sardinia with its breathtaking views of mountains trees flowers yet very close to the sea. Villa Selene Hotel is situated on a hill in a restful and panoramic area at the foot of the Gennargentu mountain overlooking the sea.The Hotel has 70 bedrooms each room is elegantly decorated and comfortably furnished some with balconies or private garden. The restaurant serves home-made healthy and tasty traditional Italian dishes as well as the typical Ogliastra recipies. A rich and inviting buffet breakfast (including salami selection of cheese bread and boiled eggs) starts the day. Try our homemade specialities: small cream puffs crêpes with a choice of jams and marmalades daily fresh yoghurt and a piping hot chocolate.
