Location Situated approx 800 metres from the Spanish Steps Metro and a little more than this from the Barberini Metro access to all of Rome is at your finger tips. Furthermore this location makes some of the world re-nowed sites in Rome walking distance. The Spanish steps and Piazza de Polopo would take approx 1012 minutes by foot while the impressive Trevi Fountain would take a few minutes more. From these two vantage points you will not be disappointed with the array of amenities which include the Hard Rock Café' and lots of classic Italian cafes restaurants and shops to distract you . Also the vibrant shopping area of Veneto is 500 metres walk with bars restaurants cafes and galleries so a nice start to any day. Walk for a few more minutes and you'll reach Via Corso which leads to the most impressive Piazza Venezia and kept walking west you will stumble across the Patheon Piazza Navona and Camp de Fiori while pasting many of the city finest restaurants. 10 minutes in another direction from the Veneto apartments will bring you to the Piazza Republica and towards Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore which is an ancient Roman Catholic basilica. But when visiting why not make your way to the Rome majestic Forum ruins which lead to the most amazing construction of the Roman era the Colosseum (70-80AD) the largest amphitheatre ever built in the Roman Empire. Originally capable of seating 60000 baying spectators it was used for gladiatorial combat where today you will encounter Tourist Gladiators' outside the building where you can get photo's taken. Note: they are not in the same physical shape as their predecessors!
