Hotel Traube

The name Traube means grape in english. The Traube in Plieningen was built in 1680 close to the former castle of the Lords of Bliono. For a long time it was the meeting-point of the bourgeois farmers artisans and councilmen that met there for a good glass of wine and a swabian meal. Since 1930 - now the third generation of family property - family Recknagel spoils their guests with a fresh local cuisine and a cultivated wine-cave. The ensemble of the buildings consists of the Traube with the original hotel the Recki's and the lately altered Vis-a-Vis with new comfort-rooms and generous Junior-Suites.
