Come and spend some time in our lovely bed and breakfast. The house is situated near a small village called La Brulatte 15 minutes from Laval 40 minutes from Rennes; Paris is 2 hours and Le Mans is an hour. Ferry ports are St Malo 74 miles and Cherbourg 130 miles. La Croix is very easy to find close to a motorway and on a national route. No winding gravel roads for you to negotiate at the end of a long journey and straight out en route to another new area the next day.Easy to explore the triangle of Normandy Brittany and the top of the Loire Valley. We are in the department of Mayenne and from here you can visit such places as the Normandy landing beaches Mont St Michel Cancale for oysters or the rugged pink granite coast of northern Brittany the Loire Valley running from Nantes all the way to Orleans where you will find all the chateaux and castles that you've dreamed of. Using either country lanes national roads or the fast motorways system it is easy to get around you can see why Mayenne is such a great place to visit . What about a day or two in the fast lane of Le Mans or shopping in Paris the train station is only 3 miles away at Port Brillet. We have 3 doubletwin or triple bedded rooms 2 family rooms which will sleep 4 and more beds and cots if required. We like to think ourselves as a good base for touring holiday and can accommodate up to 20 guests at a time. We are very biker friendly . We have enough space for 15 or more bikes or 6 Lotus Sevens under cover and a drying room for wet clothes. Large indoor heated swimming pool 36' x 18' and nearly 10' deep heated to a constant 28c which is wonderful to dive into after an enjoyable ride or drive. BandB prices start at £40 per room with 2 sharing which includes Continental breakfast or start your day with a Full English breakfast for £6 extra. Special prices for groups with Gite prices starting at £1500 per week - that's as little as £12 per night per guestEvening meal by prior arrangement we also have a petit restaurant licence which means we can serve drinks beer and wine with food. Or hire one of our electric Bar-B-Q's and do your own thing.As you go through the pages of this site you may notice that it has a lot of reference to bikers I am a keen biker but gone is the stigma that use to surround bikers most bikes are used as a second form of transport and the bikes can cost as much as a car and bikers like clean comfortable accommodation too. So we are not just a biker friendly Bed and Breakfast but one that any one can use as a fantastic base for a great touring holiday for all the family young and old.We also have wireless internet connection for those who bring laptops.
