Guesthouse Kitty is a charming Bed and Breakfast nestled in the leafy town of Pörtschach am Wörthersee Carinthia. A popular holiday destination Lake Wörthersee is flanked by the mountains of the Eastern Tyrol that not only provides some of the best skiing in Carinthia but also provides a dramatic backdrop to the summer activities along the lake shore. The region of Lake Wörthersee lies in the centre of Austria's southern most province near the borders of Slovenia and Italy.The Lake area has activities throughout the year such as the famous Star Night Fete Blanche Iron Man and the Harley Davidson Motorbike rally. This being in addition to the warm waters just perfect for bathing water sports and of course enjoying the many cafes and restaurants that can be found along the 17km length of the Lake. The regular boat services throughout the summer allow you to explore this beautiful lake at a leisurely pace.For guests visiting the area walking hiking and bike riding are also very popular with designated trails throughout the region. Golfers are well provided for with 4 golf courses available within in a 20 minute drive. We are ideally located for ease of travel just 15 minutes from Klagenfurt Airport for Ryan Air flights from Stanstead. For those travelling by car we are a few minutes from the A2. Our Guest House has five charming rooms all ensuite with balconies. Our rooms are light and airy with refrigerators and new flat screen Sat.Tvs with multiple language options. Our rooms are all double rooms with the traditional Austrian twin'. Our generous Austrian style continental breakfast buffet is served either in our cosy breakfast room or over looking our garden or the sun terrace. Check - in times are from 14:00hrs with check-out no later than 11:00 hrs
