Britannia Manchester (city Rooms)
Centrally located, the Britannia was fashioned as a hotel from an impressive Victorian warehouse. The interior centrepiece is a magnificent cantilever staircase. Surrounding this original furnishing is a selection of restored Italian chandeliers, intimate lounges and bars and almost 400 tastefully designed bedrooms of which there are 50 luxurious suites. Of the two restaurants Jenny's is a traditional Carvery while Compton's caters to gourmet tastes. (Guests should note that the City Rooms are internal rooms with no windows).
